The pupils from 5th and 6th participated in a wonderful concert
in Cillín Hill on March 2nd. They joined several other schools from Kilkenny, Tipperary and Wexford to form a large choir under the baton of the very lively conductor, Gearóid Grant. They were accompanied by the Cross Border Orchestra, whose members are secondary school pupils from North and South of Ireland. We were also treated to to the music of a pipe band from Northern Ireland along with soloists on violin and uileann pipes. The wide-ranging repertoire had our feet tapping and hands clapping. It truly was a memorable occasion for all in attendance.
