Gowran N.S. was a sea of green on Thursday, March 19th, to celebrate Seachtain na Gaeilge and perform some traditional Irish Dances in a Céilí Mór. It was a glorious day and the children danced their hearts out to many songs including The Siege of Ennis, The Walls of Limerick, Hornpipes, line dancing to Cotton Eye Joe and some brush dancing. A huge thank you to our dancing teacher, Ann Egan, for her energy and expertise in preparing us for the event. Check out the Active Flag section under Schoolzone for more photos and videos.
