We visited Ecopower's windfarm in Listerlin, South Kilkenny on Thursday 21st Feb. We learned that one wind turbine can generate enough electricity to power 500 houses in a year.It takes one day to put up a wind turbine and only two days to dismantle it.Visit our page again soon to see a video of the trip made by members of the Greenschools Committee.
