Over a period of 6 weeks, 6th Class learnt how to play the game of Spikeball, facilitated by a group of transition year students from Grennan College. Spikeball is an initiative developed by the Volleyball Association of Ireland to introduce Primary School children to Junior Volleyball.
On Wednesday 31st January, having completed the training program, 6th class took part in a Spikeball Blitz, in Kildare Town Community College. Below are a collection of pictures from that day! A thoroughly enjoyable day out!
