
With glorious sunshine, fifth and sixth class set off for Oceanics Surf School and Marine Education Centre in Tramore, Co. Waterford. Once we had overcome the obstacle of putting on our wetsuits, we took to the waves. Falling off was great fun but with the support of the excellent instructors, we had some success at standing too! In the afternoon, we undertook the challenge of the 'Beach Olympics'. We ended our tour with a trip to the amusements with the smell of chips too tempting to resist! Some pupils declared the trip 'the best tour ever!' High praise indeed! Check out our photos below:
