On Saturday 12th May 2018 James Brennan, Matthew McAviney, Yonas Kenny, Jake Byrne and Ruairí Phelan represented our school in the Pangea Maths Olympics Competition in Trinity College in Dublin.
The first round took place in 5th Class in school and the above mentioned were selected to represent Gowran NS in the finals in Trinity College, Dublin. There were 120 students at the final in total from 5th Class, 6th Class, 1st and 2nd year. This was an incredible achievement in itself for our young boys.
We would like to congratulate James, Matthew, Yonas, Jake and Ruairí for representing our school and doing us all proud!
