As part of Maths Week 6th Class were busy with their maths trails. Firstly they worked hard with Junior Infants helping them with their J.I maths trail around the school grounds. They spotted colours, shapes and numbers and also taught them how to play the game of hopscotch. Check out the pictures on the Junior Infants page to see them in action!
Next up was their own maths trail which had them measuring parts of the yard, doing a traffic survey and measuring items in the P.E hall. Great fun was had by all.
Finally we played some card games and had a problem's day in which the class tested their skills at problem solving.
