100WC Week #12 Bobbie Brennan

It was lunchtime and I just finished eating my sandwich. I headed down the street to get new batteries for my new robot I had bought two weeks ago.

I looked at my watch band and realised the shop was closing in five minutes for lunch break. I hurried as fast as I could down the street when I noticed a little white, energetic dog down running towards me. He jumped up on me and he dug his teeth into me. I put my hand on my arm to stop the blood. Then the owner came running over to me to apologise.

I was giving out to him but he could not understand because he was German.

It was a very exciting day. I was very energetic because it was the first hurling match of the season. I couldn’t wait because I recently got a new white helmet.

Earlier that day I took a bite out of my sandwich and I broke my tooth. I found a battery in it. I hurried up to my teacher but on the way up I fell and hit my head. I didn’t feel much, I just fell asleep!

When I woke up, I was on my way to my cousin's birthday party and I stayed the night, it was so fun.

“You should do more for yourselves” my mam moaned. I hated when mam was angry so I made my own sandwich. It was the most amazing sandwich. It had everything I liked; white bread, ketchup, sausages, bacon and cheese. I was just about to take massive bite out of my glorious sandwich when a battery fell in. Energetic waves started coming out of it. It was coming alive.

I hurried to get my dad’s axe but when I came back it was gone. I looked behind me and there it was, running out. I smashed the sandwich. NO!

“Great, just great!” I yelled sarcastically. The battery on my laptop was almost gone and I forgot my charger at my Nan's. “Aoife! Aoife! Make me a sandwich” Niamh, my little sister, cried. I obviously ignored her.

Suddenly, Niamh burst through the door. “MAKE ME A SANDWICH!!!!!” she cried. “I’m guessing you’re feeling a bit too energetic” I said to her. She hurried over to me and grabbed my white t-shirt. “Now! Or else…” she warned me. I told mam when she got home from work, she ended up making Niamh’s sandwich in the end.

Niamh never screamed at me to make her a sandwich ever again.

“Oh jeez,” I thought running to the cafeteria. “I’m going to be late for lunch! I really wanted to eat that white sandwich my mam made me!” I missed lunch but I made it to play. I played for about five minutes until I looked up. I saw something! “It must have come from space” I thought.

I thought it was a meteorite but when it got closer I noticed it was a battery! I opened my mouth in awe but I accidentally swallowed it! I passed out for a minute but when I woke up the bell rang. But I felt different, I felt more energetic than usual. I hurried to math class but I was there within a nanosecond!

Wally the battery was sitting on the wall eating a mayonnaise sandwich. Then an energetic egg came and knocked Wally off the wall. Wally was all white. He got back up of the wall and started to run after the egg. He ran up and down the castle gardens.  When he finally got him, he started a gigantic fight. The egg was purple and blue from it.

The castle guards came and brought Wally to the garda station. When he got there, egg was there. He bailed him out. They became the best of friends.

I was sitting on a tall, white wall eating my sandwich like I did every day. During my sandwich, someone energetically pushed me off the wall. My sandwich went everywhere but I didn’t care. I jumped to my feet and hurried quickly to the other side of the wall to check out the suspects.

Suddenly, I saw him running down the road to get away. Soon he stumbled over a battery and fell down to the ground. Thankfully, the guards saw him. Mission accomplished.

I ran over to the guard and thanked him but I don’t think he heard me because he just ignored me and continued dealing with the bad man.

Trump Versus the Cat

“DRAT!” I yelled ,“My phone is out of battery and now I can’t order my pizza.”

I hurried in the direction of the sandwich shop but I was stopped by an energetic cat . He was vintage ,black and was wearing a white tie. “Well well.” I was surprised as the cat spoke in a devious voice. “Are you an official?” the cat intrigued. “A what?” I exclaimed. “God, those spies” the cat murmured and disappeared.

Right then Donald Trump walked over to me, “Excuse me but there was a talking cat around here, have you seen him?”

I was sitting in my office like any other day, eating lunch. Suddenly I got a call. I answered my low battery white iPhone.
“I have an emergency!” an old lady shouted.
“I’ll be right there!” I replied as I took the last bite of my sandwich and hurried to the scene.

Shortly I arrived.
“My very energetic cat has climbed up this extremely tall tree, and won’t come down!”
the old lady exclaimed.
“Am, Madam, I am the secretary at Specsavers, what do you want me to do about it?”
“Oh! Sorry! Wrong number!”

Should have went to Specsavers !

I was taking a lovely walk in the park. This man with a long black cloak was behind. I got concerned and ran. I said to him ‘go away, buzz off’. I turned into the woods. I got away from him to call the gardaí. After ten minutes, the guards came but it was too late. He had caught me. I kicked him. He fell. I pulled his hood off. I could not believe my eyes. It was Michael D Higgins. He was arrested. I went home to tell the story to everyone. They were fascinated!
