We were kept in for the whole day and were bursting to get outside in the snow and get up to a little bit of trouble. My friend launched a snowball in between the two of my eyes. I was so determined to get him back. I got a huge snowball and threw it as hard as I could. My friend ducked and it hit a nearby boy in the head. he was furious! He got a snowball and powered it at me. Little did he know there was a stone in it. as it flew towards us, i couldn’t see what it was so i ducked and it hit the window!

My two friends, Max and Tom,often hang out with me in our estate after school. We were kicking around the ball. Max kicked the ball into the ditch. As I went to retrieve the ball, I heard a humming noise getting louder from the other side of the ditch.
So as it flew towards me, I couldn’t see what it was. I had no chance to dodge it. It was going too quick!I tried to duck but was hit in the head. My friends started to laugh! They now keep humming in my ear to skit me! As I blew the whistle, I bent down to gather the cones. One of the kids shouted my name. I looked up but I was too late! As it flew towards me I couldn’t see what it was. I felt a blow to the head and I collapsed... I opened my eyes and saw my son standing over me sobbing. He was saying how sorry he was. I attempted to get up but realized how dizzy I was. The other coach handed me an ice pack for my head. My son got a huge fright and learned an important lesson that day!
I was playing soccer outside with my brother and I was having fun. I went inside got something to drink. As I opened the door to go back outside to play some more, I was blinded by an object coming at me at speed. As it flew towards me couldn’t see what it was! I realized what it was. It was my ball! I tried to duck but I wasn’t so lucky. It was too quick and smacked me in the head. Dazed, I went back inside and lied down. I couldn’t even manage something to eat. Seriously!!
"It is SO slow", Peter whined "I want to get my fresh trim!" Billy the barber was taking forever. The queue was going out of the shopping center. Mum was coming to pick me up in an hour. I would never get there so I decided to go to the other barbers. Timmy the trimmer. I walked over to the barber and Timmy was waiting for someone to come in. I walked in and Timmy asked what I wanted done on my head. So he shaved all my hair off. I learned my lesson never go to the wrong barber.
One day I woke up and went downstairs. I noticed that mam was not there immediately because she always gets up before me. I screamed as loud as a lion upstairs. Then I saw mam asleep on the couch. She looked as sick as a pig. So I went over without waking her up and checked her temperature with a thermometer and it went straight through the roof. Although it was Saturday nothing was opened. So we went straight to the busy hospital. We were there for hours but thankfully she was fine. Typical it happened on a public holiday!
It was raining outside on Friday, my favorite day of the week. But the rain started to get worse as time went passed. I was getting worried. My father told me school was off today. I was happy but worried. Although it was Friday, nothing was opened. I was worried that mother would be mad at me for not getting her a gift as it was her birthday. So I went to my friends’ house because she had a shop in her shed. I found flowers in her shop so I took them home and surprised my mother!
It was a day I always dreamed of, I was counting down the days to my wedding! My friends and I went to get all our dresses. Mine was lovely and sweet! It was one in a million.
The next day was the day of my wedding. We were all getting ready in my house. My bridesmaid was just buttoning up my dress when I spilt coffee all over it. I was so upset and just burst into tears! We went to the wedding dress shop. Although it was Saturday it was not opened! I remembered that my grandmother had a similar dress from when she was young… so I could get married after all! |
