Dear diary...
Today I saw the strangest thing – the Sydney Opera House was floating up in the air! Then an army of multicoloured aliens jumped out of it and started attacking. The aliens looked like ancient Chinese chess pieces. Everyone was in complete shock.
My friend and I are the only two who seem to have survived. We don’t know what they want, we don’t know why they are here, but what we do know is they are not our friends!
If you are reading this we are hiding just south of the Bridge, in the deserted ferry terminal.

PLEASE HELP US!

Brilliant Zoe!! I thought this week's challenge was so tough but your writing is so imaginative and engaging! It was hard for me to pick my favourite part but I think the sentence 'We don't know.., we don't know... but we do know... ' It really added drama to the writing, reminding me of a tagline from a movie script! Well done Zoe!

Excellent diary entry Zoe! You have written a fantastically imaginative piece here but the way you have written it makes it seem so real. It sounds like a great start to a blockbuster movie! I'm glad you had so much fun writing it and I'm looking forward to your next 100WC!
