On the 3rd of May 2020 we were in Dublin zoo when suddenly in the blink of an eye a lion broke the vast tall fence and sprinted into the elephant’s enclosure. All the mother elephants were furious that the lion was chasing after their innocent young elephants.  At that moment the male elephant delivered his speech. All that the visitors could hear was baraag, baraag (the elephant noise) but the lion didn’t flinch. Then all the herd started running at the lion. The lion was so petrified that he ran as fast as he could back to his enclosure where he knew it was safe. The lion never left his enclosure again.

Well Tomás! This is a story demonstrating your new found writing talent! You nailed this week's challenge! It was the combination of a great plot (Elephants v Lion!) and use of engaging vocabulary 'blink/vast/furious/innocent/baragg(!)/flinch, petrified'. Your story was very visual, the scene unfolded in my mind's eye as I read, creating a short movie! I particularly enjoyed the last line 'The lion never left his enclosure again'! Who doesn't enjoy the victory over someone who needed to be taught a lesson?! Your best story yet, Tomás. Well done!
