My family and I were going to the river when we got there we had a public my brother and me went swimming for thirty minutes then we decided to jump in we were fine a couple of times then my brother jumped in and his foot caught in the seaweed he screamed for help but no one but hear him he was drowning then I saw with one eye My dog jumping in. The dog lifted my brother up and then he was saved. That evening my dog pronounced a savior. Two weeks later he died and will be remembered with a statue of him beside the river.

Delighted to receive your 100WC, Michael! Your prompt was the photo taken by your fellow classmate! I thoroughly enjoyed your story, the bond of between your dog and your family. The story was very dramatic 'his foot caught in the seaweed', the twist as the brother was drowning and the heroic effort of the dog to save the brother. I thought your writing of the death of the 'savior' dog really pulled on my heart strings! The image of the statue in the closing sentence was a great way to show the reader the lasting impact of the dog's rescue. Well done, Michael! Very impressive story!
