I went to school like usual. Everyone was there. The bully, the quiet kid and all the teachers. We had Maths and English. Then it was little lunch. That was fine until big lunch came. The bully who I was friends with him in soccer I accidentally kicked him he told me I would get the beating after school The school bell rang by the time I was going out the bully was at the door that's when I knew I should. The next day in the morning he saw me and said you escaped but not this evening. That evening I got the beating but lucky he was suspended from school.

A great opening sentence, Michael! The significance of the words 'like usual' hooked me as the reader, knowing that something unusual would happen! On reading 'I accidentally kicked him', my reaction was 'ooooh!' and said it aloud! I felt the shadow of the bully on the main character from then... I felt the worry and anxiety of the main character and the horror when the bully 'caught up' with him. I was relieved that the bully got his final comeuppance when he was suspended... there is now a chance that he won't do this to anyone else. Well done, Michael. Bullying behaviour is a difficult theme to write on but it serves as a reminder that it could happen to anyone and that speaking up does bring justice. A great story!
