One day Emily and Lilly went on a walk. They discovered a box. Emily said, “I wonder what’s inside the box?” Lilly answered, “Me too”. So they opened the box and there was magic powder inside. “Wow!” exclaimed Emily. “Magic powder,” Lilly said. “ I wonder if I pour this on myself, will I be invisible?” wondered Emily. “Me too! We should pour it on ourselves and see!” replied Lilly. Emily asked “But should I really do this?” Lilly cried “Yes! I will too”. And so Emily and Lilly poured it on themselves and they disappeared into the night.

For a first 100WC story, Madeline, you took on one of the hardest challenges... the double prompt! And what a brilliant job you did too! I love the friendship between Emily and Lilly and how they encourage each other to face their fear and embrace the adventure. Are they are good influence on each other, do you think?! I'd love to be friends with them!! Your story is creative and fun. I really enjoyed it and so did my son who is four!! Story writing is all about entertaining and engaging the audience! Well done, Madeline!

Well done on your story this week Madeline! You've written an exciting and interesting story. I bet those two friends will get up to all sorts of mischief now that they are invisible!
