One day I woke up and went downstairs. I noticed that mam was not there immediately because she always gets up before me. I screamed as loud as a lion upstairs. Then I saw mam asleep on the couch. She looked as sick as a pig. So I went over without waking her up and checked her temperature with a thermometer and it went straight through the roof. Although it was Saturday nothing was opened. So we went straight to the busy hospital. We were there for hours but thankfully she was fine. Typical it happened on a public holiday!

A great idea Kieran... identifying what problem might arise if 'nothing' was open! You also came up with a solution... to go to hospital! Well done on your first 100 word story Kieran!

This is a great use of the prompt Kieran. Yes, Murphy's law in action - (if anything can go wrong, it will.)
I'd be very pleased to have you in my house if I fell ill. You detected the problem, showed empathy, and resolved it with your quick thinking.
Thank you for sharing.
