As I blew the whistle, I bent down to gather the cones. One of the kids shouted my name. I looked up but I was too late! As it flew towards me I couldn’t see what it was. I felt a blow to the head and I collapsed... I opened my eyes and saw my son standing over me sobbing. He was saying how sorry he was. I attempted to get up but realized how dizzy I was. The other coach handed me an ice pack for my head. My son got a huge fright and learned an important lesson that day!
