“Awooooo awooooo” is all I heard as I sat underneath a large tree watching the sunset. It was magnificent. It was the best way to celebrate a birthday with my friends. I have always wanted to experience sunset because I’ve seen pictures but it’s even more amazing in person. With a roasted marshmallow in hand, I just thought, could life get any better? Although it was tough to stay awake, we sang and we danced and chatted. As soon as we saw the sky turn a beautiful colour and the sun lower, it was like everything in life was complete.

Wow Eimear! You seem away beyond your years here! We have all experienced moments like this but to articulate them the way you have is brilliant! It also shows that nature offers us ways to feel truely complete... not material things! What made this writing was the variety of ways you started your sentences such as 'With a roasted marshmellow in hand...' or 'As soon as we saw the sky...' A superb use of the prompt, well done Eimear!
