“It doesn’t matter what you think, does it?” defiantly replied the boy to his Teacher as he continued to eat lunch. “I’m as hungry as a horse, so I’ll eat. Got a problem with that?”
The teacher lost it, she picked up a book and threw it at the brazen boy. He smugly dodged it but as the other boys jumped to his defence things spiralled out of control. It was mayhem as the Principal arrived.
“What have you got to say for yourself?” the Teacher shouted.  “What… mmm….” I stuttered. “Daydreaming again! Can you please get on with your work!”

Of all your stories so far, I enjoyed this one the most, Danny! Your use of those particular adjectives and adverbs brings a commanding voice to the narrative and brings great depth of character despite the 100 word limit. Brilliant that you used the prompt to hook the reader too. Your writing style is exemplarly. Well done Danny!

Hi Danny,
I really enjoyed your story. That student would drive any teacher crazy! I loved the use of the adverbs 'defiantly' and 'smugly'. He definitely was brazen. I also liked the phrase 'spiraled out of control'. The word mayhem conjures up a great image in head mind's eye.
Well done on creating a very convincing scenario! I never saw that ending coming!
