Heidi is a working dog. She’s a beautiful golden retriever who spends her days chasing rabbits and swiftly retrieving birds and foxes on the Scottish estate where she lives. After her evening meal her favourite thing to do is to go on a walk down by the river. She stands under the windy tree and looks upstream for fish. I wonder does she see the beauty of this setting? Does she notice the snow-capped mountains in the distance? Does she appreciate the immense beauty of her daily reality? She’s a very lucky dog to be able to call this home.

Do you know Danny, I think we have all been guilty of not appreciating our own locality! It is often tourists to this country that help us see Ireland through new eyes, although I think having being restricted to a 2km limit has opened all our eyes to the beauty of where we live! You have done this 100WC every week and each week you have presented with a different style of writing and I can find myself pondering over what you have written for a day or two! A special talent, Danny! Well done!
