When we got there, we set up the tents and made a campfire. One of the lads said he was tired and creeped into his tent. We told spooky stories and gobbled marshmallows. They were delicious. We started a competition to see who could run the fastest 500 meters. I went first and sprinted so fast that I did not see the wolf pack in front of me. I crashed into the pack, jumped up and darted off. I charged home, and never went back.
Tonight, my friends and I were planning a sleep-over in the deadly forest.

Another terrific story Charlie! You drew me in with 'deadly forest'.. and yet I relaxed at the image of the campfire. All followed a predictable pattern of tent and marshmallows and getting competitive and then 'bang'! ... you hit me (the reader!) with the wolf pack! My heart was thumping! It followed with the intense verbs 'crashed', 'jumped', 'darted' and 'charged'. What a fantastic flurry of action! I thoroughly enjoy your stories Charlie. Well done!
