Animals had taken over the Earth and the zoos were now run by animals.  They had cages full of different types of humans.  They were big and small, young and old, different religions and races.  The people didn’t seem very happy.  Then the elephant made his speech.  He was the new zoo manager.  “It is now the turn of all animals to manage our beautiful planet.” He began.  “The humans have not looked after Earth very well, the oceans are polluted, many animals endangered and human activities are affecting climate change.  We must now do a better job.”

I had to read this twice to digest the brilliance of the angle of this story. You took a different interpretation to this prompt... and this is what sets good writers from talented writers! It felt almost futuristic and real! Probably because the human race has done a disastrous job and it is not such a bad idea to let nature be in charge of nature! This is one of the 100WC that will stick with me for a long time. A sign that your story has a strong message, as your writing has been doing each week. Well done, Anna! As our youngest writer on the 100WC, I can't wait to see where your writing takes you!
