This year's pupils of Gowran National School are taking on the 100 Word Challenge. This is a challenge set up by a teacher in the USA and has inspired many children across the globe to write!
As the name of the challenge suggests, pupils are provided with a prompt on which to focus their writing, with an approximate limited of one hundred words. This week, it is the sentence 'I'm trying to hold on,' he shouted.' So within your 100WC, you need to include this sentence. A new prompt comes each Sunday evening. If you wish to submit a story, email MsTighe17@gmail.com. The stories will not be edited but will be read before they are posted.
We would also encourage you to read the 100 word stories and submit a positive comment to provide feedback! You can comment by clicking under a story in this blog.
