“I hope you haven’t damaged that laptop” shouted my Mam as I bent down to see the how many pieces I had to retrieve.

“It was really heavy and I was carrying too much” I replied, hoping I wouldn’t get into too much trouble.
Then I jumped as I heard a giggle behind me.   “What’s she up to?” I thought and then I saw it!  A banana skin!  Had I been scammed?  My little sister wouldn’t get away with this!  I got my Dad’s black pellet gun and she scampered like a terrified rat.

I will get my revenge, just you wait and see!

I am in stitches laughing at your story Danny! A terrific use of the words in the prompt, a plot that packs a punch and a writing style that makes the reader feel they are right in the room with you (while keeping social distancing rules, of course!). You have a great flair for writing and have set the standard so high! Well done!!!

Kia ora Danny. I also found your story hilarious! Great use of dialogue within the piece, and I especially like your final sentence! Well done, and keep rising to the 100 Word Challenge.
